About Our Founder

Thomas Chamberlain started his commercial building career in 1988 working for a private company with retail locations throughout Florida. His responsibilities included demographic research, lease negotiations, interior design, merchandising, remodeling, and new store construction.

In 1996 Thomas became a Florida state certified general contractor. He founded Consolidated Building Services, Inc.® in 1999. In the early years, he had retained his previous employer as a client and built over 100 retail stores and distribution centers throughout Florida.

Throughout the years, CBS™ built up a client base with national retail chains and franchises. Their primary goal is to establish relationships with national companies, provide high quality construction services and complete projects on time and within budget.

When CBS™ is awarded a contract with a franchise or retail chain, they have always had repeat business.
